SPOILERS!
I have tried to keep the spoilers to a minimum for those who do want to watch Atlantis. However, it's a little difficult to be completely spoiler free when talking about a character. Nothing too drastic has been revealed, but the warning is still here.

CANON
BBC's Atlantis is a show set in "ancient Greece" in the city of guess where. The show revolves around the adventures of Jason and his two best friends Pythagoras and Hercules. Yes. That Pythagoras and Hercules. All three live together, however Pythagoras and Hercules were living together long before Jason literally fell into their lives. A lot of their adventures have to do with saving people (thanks Jason) or other ridiculous messes that might cost their lives. All of their adventures end with the trio safely returning to their home in Atlantis.

HOWEVER
Since most people are very unfamiliar with the show and most memes/characters in them are better suited for a modern setting, I play a modern AU Pythagoras when tagging others. He still lives with Jason and Hercules and is fresh from university trying to land a job as a maths teacher. Yes, he still has his ridiculous name. You're more than welcome to make comments about it. He's heard them all. If you see me in a starter, feel free to specify whether we're in ancient or modern times.

PYTHAGORAS HIMSELF

Pythagoras lives up to his name. He seems to know everything about everything at any given notice. What he doesn't know? He will gladly rush to the nearest library and dive into scrolls for. He has a particular interest for mathematics and mechanics, which I bet you didn't see coming at all. Pythagoras has also shown a particular knowledge for medicine and herb use. However this might be slightly skewed information considering Jason is frequently injured. He is a very well rounded scholar, especially for the time.

He is indeed very very genuine. He wears his heart on his sleeve, even if the moment may not be appropriate for it. He is, however, very much aware of those around him, so any wrong reaction he might have is remedied with an apology. He will not hesitate to both smile with you and tell you the hard truth you need to hear. His voice is always kind, his touches are always gentle. There has to be someone to be the voice of reason and that person is Pythagoras.

Pythagoras is a caregiver and kind by default. He was very ready to accept Jason into their home simply because he needed a place to stay. He's always worried about his friends and their well being. He is the responsible one, who keeps gold hidden for when Hercules gets a scheme to gamble all that they have away. He tends to wounds and has no problem with researching from sunrise to sunset for the sake of helping his friends. He will gladly be the shoulder to cry on. In fact, he's usually the first to suggest it.

Yet for all his kindness and ease of smiles, there is something about Pythagoras that speaks of age beyond years. Perhaps it's his seemingly infinite wisdom and knowledge. One rarely gets to find out. Pythagoras spends so much time tending to others and assuring there is food on the table that he rarely speaks of himself. He's not very interesting, he thinks. Now, triangles. Those are things of beauty.

He is terrible with fighting. Definitely more of an intellect than a fighter. He can't really control his limbs all of the time. He moves awkwardly, runs awkwardly, fights awkwardly, and looks a bit spastic in more dire situations. He's trying, he really is.

Pythagoras has one younger brother named Arcus.

TL;DR
I love playing this guy, but I realize his canon is unpopular. Rather than assuming players will research about him, I brought the information to you. Don't like the ancient Greek setting? Have fun with the modern AU! The gifs sum him up nicely.
